Memories on Main Antiques is located in the Historic District of downtown Mt. Airy, NC. The popular tourist town known as Mayberry was made famous by the 1960's mega-hit sitcom "The Andy Griffith Show" and birthplace of American icon Andy Griffith himself. We maintain three floors comprised of over 8,000 sq. ft. of antiques, collectibles, artisan works and much more.
We also offer instruction in our heritage arts studio under the direction of Rose Ayers. Please note: our studio is currently closed due to our upcoming move. Our mission is "Keeping Memories Alive." We teach a wide variety of classes including "inside barn" quilting (replicating old quilt square patterns), crocheting, painting with watercolors, acrylics, and oils, chair caning, basic wood furniture refinishing,, and much more. We are doing our best to schedule for you so our registration process has changed a bit. Contact Rose at 336-378-0000 or 336-416-7658 for details on taking a class or perhaps becoming one of our instructors.
